So what all has happened since high school?
Richard D. “Moose” Hower, 64, of Huntington, IN, died Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2021, at Parkview Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Hower was a 1972 graduate of Huntington North High School. He worked at Our Sunday Visitor, Carter Lumber and delivered pizza for Pizza Hut.

He was born on March 3, 1956, in Portland, to Donald and Dorothy Beaty Hower. He was married to Jane Wood. She preceded him in death in 1996.

Survivors include his girlfriend, Chantell Burnau, of Huntington; a son, Adam Hower, of Warren; four step children, Desiree (Rusty) DeVega, of Marion, Eric (Heidi) Wood, of Marion, Jolene (Matt) Worth, of Carmel and Stacey McAlister, of Jonesboro; a sister, Nancy (Mark) Paul, of Huntington; and 16 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Misty Jo Hower; and two grandchildren.

Calling will take place on Friday, Feb. 12, 2021, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a funeral service to immediately follow, at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford St., Huntington. Those in attendance are asked to follow the CDC’s guidelines for social distancing.
