Kitty Y. Prouty, 64, of Huntington, IN, died Monday, Oct. 14, 2019, at Parkview Regional Center, in Fort Wayne.

Mrs. Prouty was a 1974 graduate of Huntington North High School. She had recently worked at Onward Manufacturing in Huntington.

She was born Oct. 10, 1955, in Allen County to Junior and Helen Creech McGinnis Garrison. Her mother survives in Roanoke.

Additional survivors include two daughters, Nicole (Gabriele) Nichols, of Lakeland, FL, and Desiree (Josh) Norman, of Wilkes-Barre, PA; two sons, Shane (Teresa) Prouty, of Huntington, and Randy Prouty, of Lima, OH; a brother, Bob Garrison, of Andrews; a sister, Cindy Phillips, of Huntington; six grandchildren; and her companion, Doug McMahan, of Huntington.
