So what all has happened since high school?
Kathy Lynn Scott, age 55, of Huntington, went home to be with the Lord Monday, March 5, 2012 at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne Indiana.

Kathy was born on March 22, 1956 in Peru, Indiana, the daughter of Robert G. Bowman and Margaret “Maggie” (Edmon) Hart. She was a 1975 graduate of Huntington North High School. She graduated from Huntington College in 2005 earning a Degree in Business Management.

Kathy was Senior Material Planner at Bendix in Huntington for 27 years. Prior to that she was a supervisor at Square-D in Huntington. She was also a Personal Trainer at the Huntington YMCA. Kathy served on the Board of Directors as the secretary for the YMCA. Kathy was a former board member of the Huntington Red Cross, The United Way, and the Huntington Leadership Academy. She was a member of the
Salamonie Church of the Brethren.

Survivors include husband of 26 years - Frank L. Scott of Huntington; father - Robert G. Bowman of Mexico, Indiana; step-father - Jack Hart of Huntington; sister - Susan (Dave) Floyd of Pinellas Park, Florida; four brothers - Robert (Nikole) Bowman of Old Fort, Tennessee, Richard (Gayle) Bowman of San Leon, Texas, James Goodrich of Hialeah Gardens, Florida, Gary Goodrich of Marion, Indiana; her beloved pets – Gizzie, Cricket and Tucker. She was preceded in death by her mother - Margaret “Maggie” Hart.

Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. Thursday (March 8, 2012) at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive Huntington. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday (March 9, 2012) at Bailey-Love Mortuary with Pastor Mel Zumbrun officiating. Burial will take place in the Lancaster Cemetery in Huntington County.
